Grapevine Italian Restaurant

I went with a Group of friends and the last time we ate At the grapevine was many years ago. The decor had barely changed and sadly neither had the menu. Very dull and lacklustre menu, food tasted the same. Waitress tried to clear plates away while some of us were still eating, one of my pet hates but the owner very affable And didn't chase us out to go home. There is so much variety and interesting dishes available these days this menu was stuck in the 80s

Have been a couple of times over the year and have always had a wonderful time. The meals are very Italian and are generous servings. Its reasonably priced and have never had a bad meal. The only main let down is the service. Very sullen and unattentive. On our recent visit we were seated for quite awhile before anyone even came to offer drinks. Once we had been served the staff were friendly enough although we were never asked if we needed refills and had to on a number of occasions grab someone attention. The food however was bought out in a speedy fashion even though the restaurant was quite full. I have noticed quite a nice dessert menu but on the times we have felt like dessert we have been told it was too late and the kitchen was closed. Overall we always have a lovely time and will come back, just hoping next time the wait staff are a bit more attentive.

One of Perth's best kept secrets is OUT, This is the best Italian restaurant in Perth, too much to say...just take the time to go for dinner and check it out for yourself, I promise you.......you'll love it..!
