food average - good.
service poor. the older lady has zero personality, never looks at you, never smiles, never says hello/bye or thank you. how do these people work in hospitality? seriously!
another occasion the bill was $9.90 but they wouldn't take card as they had a $10 minimum for card use. funny.

I always enjoy the food at Great North Seafood, whether it's just battered fish and chips, a special of grilled barrumundi with salad, calamari or the burgers. Everything is served fresh and the place is clean. Note that they accept cash only but there are plenty of ATMs in close vicinity.

Im struggling with this review as a minth ago it was yummo and nit oily but thisvtime we ordered it was so oily im still feeling oily today. Mind u i think the issue is the temperature of the oil we had a huge order and it would have bought the temperature down in the oil. But u should be on top of this when your busy! The cocktails are goid but were overcooked this time so mushy. The cod was delicious but its just the oil factor that spoils it. Besides the cocktails the rest was delicious but oily hence my score. Sorry guys.

Seems like just 6 months ago I could at least get basic fish and chips for about $7. Now the cheapest is $9.70. Did not know that the inflation rate was 20%! I also wonder how businesses can still get away with being cash only. I cannot avoid payin tax!

Worst service slow as anything seafood rubbery. It seems impossible to find a good seafood place in the inner west. Better to make the trip to the fish markets!
