I first discovered Green Door Cafe and Gallery a couple of months ago, by walking past. I live in the area and there have been several cafes and bars opening up lately, which have become very popular. I read the review by another person on this site, but I really do not really understand why they reviewed Green Door so poorly. Maybe there were some bad-tempered staff members in the past? Not my experience now.
A couple of weeks ago, my partner and I had breakfast at Green Door. The staff were attentive and friendly, and service was efficient but not intrusive e.g. water bottles refilled, table cleared in a timely manner etc. We had poached eggs with tomato chutney, avocado, and haloumi cheese. Went back here recently, and was quite disappointed. Not much food on offer. They were quite unhelpful. I won't be rushing back.
This is the worst cafe I have ever come across! HORRIBLE FOOD AND HORRIBLE HORRIBLE staff!
This place is a waste of money!!!
I ordered a mango smoothie and toasted sandwich and my friend ordered a milkshake and a wrap. We both tasted our drinks and the milk seemed off!!!
