Biased teachers. Not equipped to handle a child who may be slow to warm up or a late bloomer. I was told that working with my son was ‘a challenge’. Honestly, it took me a year to get out of that feeling. Funny part, they dint even know that he could talk!!
Every day I dreaded to pick him back from the daycare wondering what complaints I was going to hear! I don’t understand how a child who is 20 months isn’t supposed to drink from a bottle but a 3 year old is allowed to walk around with a pacifier.. please explain the logic.. If you want a child to learn everything (how to eat, how to dress/undress, how to socialise with others etc) and then come to your daycare, WHAT ARE YOU THERE FOR?!?!?!
It has taken me some time to dig back over the past two years to find you. Initially I had no recollection, hence my response to your comment.
I was sincerely saddened to read your emotional review of Green Gables on Google, and even sadder that it is still obviously impacting you some 18 months after your son was with us. It is such a shame that you chose not to come forward with your concerns so that we could work together to assist you.
We do try so hard to meet everyone’s expectations, however without willingness of both parties it is impossible to address issues. It is disappointing that you did not feel comfortable to come to me at the time, especially as you were so complementary in your email prior to your departure, so this comes as a complete shock.
