Green Shiso

Walking past this small, fresh & light filled restaurant with a sushi train in the middle & small tables around, you might miss it. But it is definitely a place not to be missed. There is a good selection of plates if you choose to dine along the sushi train bar & just as many delicious sounding dishes from the a la carte menu which offers traditional dishes as well as more modern takes of classics. The sashimi platter was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate with the deluxe platter made up of 5 different types of fish, scallops & an oyster with ponzu sauce. It was fresh & a great testiment of what's to come. The tempura & sauce was again perfect. Lightly coated & crunchy, the mixed platter consisted of various vegetables, prawns & fish pieces. Then there is the wagyu steak with amiyaki sauce.
