Greenacres Charcoal Chicken & Fish & Chip Shop

With a storekeeper more interested in gossip than actually preparing food or serving customers, it's not surprising that the chicken here is not great. Dry breast, hard skin, somewhat burnt around the wings, it was truly difficult to swallow. Tried to get gravy separate from my chicken and chips, but was forced to pay extra for an entire container of gravy that i didn't need. The crisp, fluffy chips were the only redeeming factor.

WHEN YOU COOK CHIPS DO NOT EVER PUT A PIECE OF FISH INTO THE SAME OIL WHEN THE FISH IS NOT A PART OF MY ORDER, ESPECIALLY WHEN MY CHIPS ARE JUST ABOUT READY!!!!!!! My chips stunk of raw fish and unfortunately the $8 jumbo chips went into the bin. The gravy smelt off, the chickens are passable. The shop looks like it needs a bit of work. Sorry but not at all impressed and I will not be back!!!! My advice? go any where but there, even Mcdonalds would rate better!

I highly recommend this business if you are looking for a great tasting food at good prices. Great place for a quick bite on the run to. Fantastic salads, I highly recommend the CHICKEN PASTA salad. Well done guys, keep up the good work......

Pretty basic store with the usual chicken and chips meals and sides. The prices are about normal. My order is usually pretty quickly handed over and everyone is nice enough. It's about what you would want and expect in a good chip shop.
