Greenshades Cafe

It's lost all its lovely old Greenshades charm it had back in the 90s and early 2000s! This place used to be magical and with so much to look at, great atmosphere, staff food and drinks.

Nowadays it has sadly changed to a place which tries to offer the same home-y feel but fails and with no magic touches added. The meals are ridiculously expensive and the quality does not meet the price.

The staff are lovely but that does not come close to compensating for spending half a week's pay to take the family out for a meal.

Very over priced especially the starters, I had a simple tomatoe and avocado bruschetta, $9 for 1 slice of ciabatta, less than 1/4 of avocado and probably a tomato I mean come on!
Nice setting , kids area is a bit tired with uneven paving, friendly staff.

I don't understand what the fuss is about.. Food-average, (i paid $7 for a fresh orange juice) service-extremely poor, setting- needs some maintenance. It does cater for children, so that's a plus, the rest is a
minus..
