A local service providing high quality, professional counselling services for adults, children, young people and in Griffith.At any age you can experience difficulties in dealing with life's stressors including grief and loss, parenting problems, relationship difficulties or work/life balance. Left unchecked these can result in symptoms of depression and anxiety. Counselling can help identify strategies for managing these difficulties and help you get back on track with enjoying life.
The centre offers a range of options including stress and anxiety management, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), problem solving, anger management, relaxation strategies, Triple P parenting, couples counselling and art based therapy. Whatever the issue, the focus is on determining what you want to improve in your well being, relationships and life skills and providing counselling in a professional non-judgemental setting.
The centre specialises trauma therapy for sexual assault and domestic violence and offers group work, organisational training and clinical supervision.
Medicare rebates are available on referral from a GP.
