Last night I ordered a side of beans, found a piece of chicken in it, (I am vegetarian) told the management at the end of my meal, and replied loudly "are you trying to get a free meal" ( it's a $3.50 side I wouldn't call it a meal) "it was a freak accident we don't put chicken in our beans" (me- hey just wanted to let you know ok) "I don't understand what you're trying to sell to me" I'm just a little 18yo girl and I love mexican but I'm definitely not going back again to be abused for finding meat in my vegetarian beans. It's a shame because the atmosphere is chill, the food good albeit slightly pricey and a loooonnggg wait (45+ Minutes for 2 meals) and awkward service by shy staffs.
After a beautiful Christmas fair in Bruns the food was sold out everywhere. My friends and kids were starting to loose it with hunger. A quick call to Gringos and they could squeeze our group in before they closed. Our meals pretty much all came out at the same time. Everyone in my group was very happy with their meal. I have eaten Mexican quite a few times and in my judgement this place is very good. I had a Chimichanger. My mouth is watering. Good restaurant. Nice garden setting. Will return.
Gringo's has fabulous fresh food and a great outside dining area. The fresh home cooked taste and organic ingredients make Gringo's the perfect choice. Vegetarian and vegan but seafood is a specialty. Try the Baja Tacos. Only the freshiest fish and prawns are used. After talking to the owners I was able to discover that all the food is made daily on the premises. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is great and relaxed. Once tasted it is never forgotten, I would highly recommend Gringo's.
