Yesterday my wife and I each purchased one of their curry pies. I’m thinking they could rename them “salt pies”.
Both pies were inedible due to the amount of salt that they used in the filling. It was like eating a teaspoon of salt with eat bite! I assume something went seriously wrong with the batch our pies were in - I can’t believe that it’s their normal recipe.
Awful!
This is on the Main Street of Kyneton, Piper Street. Offering an extensive menu including breads, pies, pastries, toasted sandwiches, sourdough pizzas, and desserts. Service was great.
I just popped by for a loaf of bread. All the choices available looked so good. Settled on getting a Multigrain Sourdough. Tried this later on and it had a nice crust on the outside but had a fantastic soft and fluffy centre. Loved the pumpkin seeds and oats covering it. My friend commented that she doesn't usually like sourdough however she really enjoyed this one.
