Ground Zero

Dropped in here for a caffeine hit and refuel after tackling the Spit to Manly walk. Head out back, grab a seat in the sun and slurp down on their fresh juice and tasty bites to eat. The coffee was hot and strong and the food was just as good. I went the veggie breakie. A large plate with plenty of flavour. Will head back in when back in this area and/when someone convinces me to tackle that walk again.

There's no shortage of smoothie options with a front counter brimming with fresh fruit and veg. We had the breakfast classic - banana smoothie (banana, honey and ice cream) and Pina Colada, a non alcoholic concoction of pineapple juice, coconut milk, banana and passionfruit yoghurt. Both were very nice. The ice cream is a bargain at $2.50 a scoop.

I have discovered a new favourite here, the Lemon Melon smoothie, only based on sorbet it is absolute goodness and indulgence in one!!

This is my regular place for a morning juice on the weekend. I always go the zinger with ginger and lemon however I have finally checked out the menu further and they have a great variety of frozen juices and smoothies that are next on my hit list!!
