My interests are in Evidence Based Medicine, avoiding unnecessary medical tests and interventions, a healthy skepticism of "alternative medicine" in favour of simple approaches that have been proven to work and are cost-effective.

I have an interest in paediatrics / child health, geriatrics, I do nursing home visits and home visits for patients of our practice having urgent issues after hours, I have admitting rights at Canossa Hospital, do occupational medicine with WorkCover and InjuryNet, Aviation Medicals with CASA, Dive Medicals with SPUMS.

My personal professional interest is in Wilderness and Remote medicine, providing healthcare in environments away from the practice and remote and hostile environments. I have experience in this area with the Australian Defence Force and National Home Doctor Service.
