If you order anything from Guitar World, don't expect to receive the product you ordered. After they being very friendly on the phone prior to the order (even keeping my number), I left them a deposit for a guitar. After waiting 5 weeks, I rang and asked why I hadn't received a call. They gave me a story about how the guitar wasn't available and asked me if I wanted to continue with the order and get a different guitar... I asked for my deposit back and warned me that it's not possible without my receipt. No problems, I still had my receipt! Very lucky I received my $140 back.
When you order something from any store, you expect a call when the order cannot be made for whatever reason. They never called me back in 5 weeks, even though on the day of the deposit payment, they said they would make the order "today".
They didn't even make the order they promised to make!
Stay away from Guitar World Northcote.
A bad experience is not worth a 1-star review. You waited 5 weeks, it could have been 2 days if you'd stayed on top of it.
