The Gulargambone Caravan Park is a lovely shady park with heaps of birdlife, grassy drive-through sites and reasonable rates. The sites are located away from the main street and facilities include a free barbeque, camp kitchen and pizza oven. Gulargambone Caravan Park is pet friendly with dog and cat units available and a dog yard to exercise dogs. Come and stay in the inspiring little town of Gulargambone - the place of many Galahs.

We stayed in or caravan at Gulargambone Caravan Park in October 2012. Great park off the highway at Gulargambone between Coonable and Gilgandra, Central NSW. The town is know for its corrugated steel galahs. Great park with hosts Graham and Pam ensuring a pleasant stay. Friendly, clean and inexpensive are three main reasons to stay here. A damper is cooked for visitors and during our stay a guest celebrated a 'milestone' birthday and Pam cooked a gluten free chocolate cake - really tasty and moist. The owners have geese, chooks and turkeys and goats and alpacas. Great park which caters for all RV, caravanners and motel accommodation. We will definitely be staying here again when traversing between Queensland and Victoria. Great place with friendly owners.
Stayed here for 4 nights in mid September. It was my first time at a caravan park, and it was great! I had a unit, which is quite cozy, complete with a dining area, living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom is carpeted and a fan heater is provided, which kept me warm.
Graham the owner was quite funny and friendly. He urged us to join the people there for homemade damper (Aussie bread/cake). It's free every night at 5.30pm (different flavours, so don't miss out!), but usually we donate to the Royal Flying Doctors.
One night we couldn't make it so Graham left us some in our units! Very touched!
The water from the taps is heavily chlorinated, though, so get your drinking water elsewhere. Still, it was a lovely experience!
