Funky, even though an outdated term, is the perfect way to describe Gunthers Dining Room. Hidden behind/through Redfern Continental this little gem is decked out in 70s/80s decor and has a playlist to match those eras too. I actually LOVED the playlist here. There are plenty of seating areas even though the space is small their spatial planning is great. The share food plates were really great too, some pretty unique options such as the currywurst (a sausage with curry sauce) and the fries are divine. Although I would go there again for the music alone, it was very loud. Not great for a first date or gathering of people who were unfamiliar, go with friends you know and you're gold. To be honest that doesn't change my mind about this place at all because it was awesome and has a disco ball...enough said.
