Gusto Espresso Bar

Good choice for a coffee whilst in and around coogee. It can get very busy, and not that many seats, but who cares as you can be by the beach with an easy 3 minute stroll. We love grabbing a coffee here and watching the waves down at the beach

This is our go to for coffee when I visit my sister for some reason. Not sure why, it's always busy and there's always people sitting around or outside.

They don't have a lot of seating, there's a few stools with benches inside, there's not much turning room if you have a pram as we found out when we wanted to order some coffee. It's a tight turn and there's people everywhere. It's a bit chaotic is a better explanation.

They do an ok coffee and their food isn't to bad either.

The only gripe I have with the place is that they still charge extra for soy milk and their food is a wee bit overpriced for what you're getting.

Sometimes you also can't hear them screaming your name for your order over the noise from the road and crowds too.

Close by to the beach, Gusto cafe is a great spot to grab a coffee and head down to the water. The blend was smooth and if you don't want your coffee on the run sit up at the bench and watch others walk by.

Coffee is good here and they have a real local hangout feel to the cafe. Has lots of Newspapers and locals reading them on the bar, and outstanding muffins! I prefer to grab and go (much like most of the line) as the beach is 30secs away!

Popped in here for a quick mid-beach break. I ordered a mango smoothie to go and sat at the counter chatting with friends and watching the foot traffic on Coogee Bay Road.



The girls were really apologetic about the wait though I hadn't noticed. The smoothie was amazing and the girls even offered us the extra smoothie left over in the blender.
