Guzman Y Gomez Highpoint

Gee, when my wife suggested we try Guzman Y Gomez while we were shopping in Highpoint I thought "ah man, not another Mexican place". Anyway, I 'reluctantly' tried their burrito bowl and boooooooy, was it good! Haven't looked back since. We both go to gyms near Highpoint and it's almost always the place we go to afterwards for dinner. Staff are very friendly and ambience is ok. My favourite Mexican place out of the 4 or 5 big players in the market at the moment.

Guzman Y Gomez is a Mexican fast food chain, but with a healthy touch. The salsa is very fresh and the burritos are extremely tasty and filling. My friend was able to order gluten free soft shell tacos (vege flavour with guacamole included). Tasty, fresh and healthy, and costs around $10. Lots of extra sauces (think chipotle), and coriander if you order them. If there's a line, the line moves fairly quickly so don't fret.

A reasonable cheap way to enjoy decent Mexican food. Guzman Y Gomez, located in the prime area of Highpoint on level 1 near Hoyts cinemas. Close to the entry where is visible to everyone that walks in & out of that entrance. Have not had Mexican in along tine and we decided to dine here to try it out. Great selection but for me, i play it safe and stick to what i know. Nachos & tacos. My husband had the burrito because he knows with the rice and all the flavoured ingredients will fill him up easily. Like any fast food, Guzman Y Gomez was quick with getting their orders through and getting them served. So our meals were hot fresh. I enjoyed the nachos as it was easy to eat and the flavours were good. My tacos were challenging as it kept falling apart and became very messy to eat. Wouldn't say it was the best I've eaten because nothing would beat my experience from the USA but for a reasonable price Guzman Y Gomez does the job.
