H&R Block

Very disappointed. Had to direct the consultant for deductions mutiple times. No suggestions or advice on completing the return, the consultant simply followed the ATO form guide. After explaining that I was enageing her as I wanted to take a longer term view absolutley zero advice was provided on next steps. The consultant seemed very inexpereinced. I do not recommend this service!

Disaster. Waited 45mins to be served (with no apology) even though I had made an appointment. No apology either.

Further, I had to prompt the accountant on a couple of deductions which were not even considered. Bitterly disappointed. Never again.

Well, where to start. I have now been waiting 4 weeks for ANY confirmation on if my tax has been lodged. I went in for my initial appointment and ended up having to drop a couple of things back the next day, which I did. I was told my return would be finished off that day. I called a few days later after not having had an email response and was told it hadn't been completed (cue rusting of paperwork in background and an exclamation of surprise when it was found in a pile) but would that day. Fast forward about 6 phone calls and emails later and I AM STILL WAITING for a response. But H&R Block have happily billed me for their time, despite what seems like no action on their behalf at all. Thanks a bunch. Will never use you again, and will be telling anyone else who is idiot enough to contemplate using you to stay away. I understand it is a busy time of year for any business, but as a small business owner myself, your communication and response rate is appalling.
