Haberfield Medical Centre

Whoever owns this medical centre clearly does not give one iota about providing decent service. I have hated it for years.....and from the reviews nothing has changed. Unfriendly incompetent staff, ridiculous wait times, and the only doctor who comes highly recommended no longer takes new patients. Pointless frustrating place, find somewhere else even if you have to travel or not get bulk bill.

This medical centre is a joke. Not only is the wait ridiculously long all the time, the reception staffs make all patients fill out a form in regards to how urgently you need to see the doctor. So the doctors actually flip through and decide who to see first - not first come first serve which is FAIR. There are number of reception staffs who are doing nothing yet only one doctor !! The reception staffs are rude and loud. The wait is long and the everything about the centre is uncomfortable and dull. There is no sign which says which doctor is on duty. Only when I am desperate do I ever set foot in this medical centre.

I would not recommend this place at all.

My husband who could barely breathe waited two and a half hours to see a doctor. We almost walked out twice but the receptionist kept saying \""won\'t be long\"". The doctors are nice enough but how can there be only two of them on a Saturday afternoon? my husband was in and out in five minutes with two scripts. Realised after a few remarks by the receptionist that we had to wait until almost last because he isn\'t a \""regular patient\"". What happened to first come first serve? I would never go the Ramsay Rd again. Shocking, unbelievable, stay away!
