Hahndorf sweets

The man working in this store was so kind and helpful. He helped us choose classic Adelaidian treats and even let us sample the fudge (which was DELICIOUS). Best!

Great little lollie shop up in the hills. The building and staff themselves are characters in their own right. Small shop with LOTS of lollies. Best to visit on a quiet day when you can have a good look around and chat easily with staff!

There's only 2 reasons I can think of you might not like this shop. First - perhaps you don't like lollies (and I mean 'any sort of lollies at all'). If you're that 1 in a million person, then don't bother reading on. The other is if you don't like lollies. Oh - I already did that one. Perhaps there's only one reason...
The shop has lollies from the US, the UK, the AU, the EU, Other planets (well, that might be stretching it - but you get the idea!), ranging in price from cheap to higher end. There's lollies they make themselves (which they offer samples of - tried their fudge & it was yummylicious), and mass produced ones. They even have sugar free lollies (see the photo!), though I can't imagine them...
It isn't a huge shop, and was busy the day we went there, but it's well worth the visit.

sometimes you dont have to have a big shop with a lot of punch! this shop has almost every lolly under the sun. it truly is AMAZING to all the kiddies.
However this busy little shop is too small for the amount of people it has inside it. a busy weekend day and they had a staff member serving chocolate treats to customers to try (which was lovely) and someone serving. but it was so squeezy that you couldnt walk around to ask questions! (some might say, what sort of questions do you need to ask in a lolly shop! but we had a couple of sweets we were after that we couldnt see there) too bad for those with allergies and asking whats in what.
