Took my golden retriever this morning. I was very nervous about leaving him with strangers. I am glad I did because the staff were very caring and he looks fantastic. He was not at all traumatised when I picked him up. The salon was air conditioned and spotless. All the dogs there looked at ease and beautifully groomed. I have now booked all three of my retrievers to go there on a regular basis.
My girls Minki and Grace always look a million bucks when they have had a day at Hair of the dog with Kim and the team. I have every confidence that they are well cared for during their stay. Minki especially is always absolutely filthy when she arrives but is the whitest sweet smelling pooch ever when I pick her up. Thanks ladies you're the best.
Our Maltese x ShihTzu has been regularly groomed at Hair of the Dog since we moved to Manly West last year and always comes home looking beautiful, usually with a bow in her hair and very happy after her experience there. We moved from Sydney to Lota 6 months ago and needed to find a groomer for our two fur babies Bundy and Bozley.We were told about Kim and the girls at Hair of the Dog and rang and made an appointment for both to go and be made gorgeous.They are boys but still gorgeous :) One of our boys Bozley was very fearful of groomers due to a bad experience in the past but the girls were amazing with him and when we picked them up, he was happy and not stressed at all like he would be normally. The girls do a fantastic job of grooming the boys, especially Bundy who is a Jack Russell Maltese cross, so he is a shaggy fur ball until the girls tame his locks. We highly recommend the staff at Hair of The Dog grooming Salon, the prices are competitive, the Staff are awesome but most importantly our boys are happy to go visit every couple of months for the works or sometimes just a luxury bubble bath n nail clip. Thanks girls, you are awesome.
