Got my hair coloured here today. Showed Midori pics of what I was looking for and what I didnt like, and I left the rest in her hands. 100% happy with the colour, given care instructions and no pressure to buy their products if I didn't want to. Will be returning. Only issue was going from brown to blonde frazzled the ends of my hair a little, but I guess that's what happens with bleach.
I went in to get a trim. No layers just a blunt straight cut. I was very specific that I only wanted a very little bit off the ends. My hair has no layers so I thought it would be a simple cut for the hairdresser. I then repeat this. Hairdresser hacked away and from my obvious worried expression the hairdresser then told me not to worry. Hairdresser followed with a very rough and unpleasant blow dry. I pay and leave as i'm in a rush. Two minutes later I look in the mirror at my hair and I have an asymmetrical cut. Long on one side short on the other. Uneven every where. Now I have to go to another hairdresser to get them to fix my hair and cut off a whole heap to get it even. Unbelievable. Very bad experience and I would highly recommend potential customers to steer clear from this salon.
I went here for months until i moved closer to the CBD. Malic was my favorite choice and probably the best cutter in the salon. The recent renovation has picked up the place, but I wouldn't walk in during peak hours on weekends in Westfield BJ - unless you book. The price is cheap usually $30 for a mens cut.
Awful Service - I picked this salon as they assured me they were able to style my clip -in hair extensions. Hairdresser had no idea how do deal with my damaged, curly hair (she suggested foils, which no stylist of any ability would recommend for my hair). She did not communicate what she was planning to do with my hair , she took the "inch or so off the layers" to mean chop almost half my hair off. My upset and anger was only compounded by being handed back my now "styled" $400 hair extensions which now had the consistency and texture of a rats nest. They were completely destroyed.
