Luke and his crew from Hammer & Grind worked harder than any group of tradesman i have ever seen before. They removed over 210 sqm of tiles & 90 sqm of gyprock from the walks and the glue. The whole job took four days and they removed 3x 9 cubic meter skip bins, an amazing effort. What set them apart was the thoughtful way in which they approached each section of the house to minimize cost for me but also didn't shy away from the hard yacka. After the job was finally complete i returned to a spotless work site, incredible that they could make so much mess competlely disappear. This is the first time a group of workers have really impressed me on both efficiency, cleanliness and also extremely personable and polite.
I would reccommend Hammer & Grind to anyone that needed a large job done right.
I organised for Hammer & Grind to remove my existing ceramic floor tiles on concrete floor recently. Before coming, they sent me a clear information pack on how to prepare my house to minimise dust and also to provide a skip for them to dispose the tiles.
On the day, Luke and his friendly gang turned up on time and began work without delay. They removed the tiles in the laundry (on sand cement bed) and the remaining tiles which were cement glued to the concrete floor. Total floor area was 42m2.
After that, they diamond grind to get rid of the glue and sand cement. They even went to the extend to grind out the remnants next to the skirting board.
