The Blitz Thai Boxing curriculum developed by Mark Castagnini is the heart of Hammer's Gym. The Blitz System centres around 'real world' self defence techniques and the martial art native to Thailand-Muay Thai. The Blitz System also caters to those who want just to keep fit or reach their own personal weight loss goals. Hammer's Gym supports a full size ABIA Boxing Ring with plenty of 6ft bags to train on. The centre is also fully equipped with a cardio and weights area, making it ideal for a total workout experience. Hammer's Gym also has a large social area with games, internet access and catering facilities. Personal trainers are always available for one on one training in many styles of martial arts and general cardio and weight training.
WMC World Champion 'John Wayne' Parr and Trainer of Champions, Nugget are flown in from Queensland on a regular basis to Instruct and Personal Train. The most apparent point of difference Hammer's Gym offers is in that when a membership is purchased the member is able to use all the facilities of the centre, at any time during trading hours, as many times as they wish - not just for the classes they choose!

I paid $100 bucks to get out of my membership. It might work for you I think if your social and you like the social vibe of a gym. The trainers although didn't have a great flow with me seemed to be fine with the people they did and some members seemed to really enjoy it. I have a real disdain for the classes but the gym was OK in regards to equipment. It was a unnecessary drama to try to change my membership and ended up being better to cut and run in the end. It will always be a place I'm contemptuous of due to that however a lot of other people seemed happy there.
