Hampstead Hotel

I needed/wanted to pick a casual dining place for a semi-big family get together and I decided on The Hampstead Hotel. I had never been here before but have driven pass numerous times so when I decided to have a quick look on the website at their menu, it didn't take much to decide and make a booking. The staff were very friendly, they had an awesome salad bar and they had a lot to choose from from the Menu. The Surf and Turf was a decent size and the Sunday Roast Special was great, it was a 3 course meal for $18 and you still get the salad bar with it. Definitely would consider coming back here again.

Well to be positive, the staff are friendly, the food needs improving though. I know it is mass production to maximise profit, still it could be better. The beer was a bit flat and no imperial pints available, needs more of a family atmosphere.

We had a really good time here last tuesday. Our group actually split up- my partners parents ended up having their dinner in the Bistro, which they said was just delicious while my partner and I went to the front bar and had a counter meal, which was a huge dinner or steak and vegies for $8.95! we couldn't beleive it, and it was cooked perfectly too. we both got it.

Have been back many times. Large dining area with comfortable spacing. Great salad & veg bar. Service is friendly and meal sizes are excellent for value. I recommend highly to all my friends. One of the best pub meals I have had in a long time.
