Rang on Thursday to check time of opening on Saturday, was informed 11.30. So today we waited until 11.55 the owner finally arrived to open. Food was horrible, very small serve, not even hot, when we complained he reheated it in the microwave and said you must understand hot food on a cold plate. Vegetable were not cooked properly, hardly any sauce and fried rice was lumpy and again cold. I have never had food like this before. Very unprofessional owner did not want to know about issues. We will never eat here again.
Went for a family dinner and got one of the banquets which seemed good value but when the food came out it was definitely not worth it. The service was terrible, hardly any customers in the restaurant but still had a lot of trouble getting the wait staff's attention to order drinks and they took a very long time to come out and staff often forgot things and had to make another trip taking just as long. The banquet had 7 different mains which they tried to bring out all at once and squeeze onto the small table. Will definately not be returning.
Definitely not a Happy Garden, very bad service and unpleasant staff. Older man though is quite friendly and had a wonderful experience with him, but when came back was served by another staff member who was absolutely horrible . No manners and retail skills, very rude and a little but clueless . Didn't even know the difference between beverages that they were serving , claimed 'I don't drink ' well fair enough but the staff should should still know the difference since they're working here. Happy Garden really needs to learn some professional skills. Very very disappointed customer and will not be returning and making sure my friends don't either !
Not a Happy Garden person here won't be going back. Owner complained because one of his staff undercharged me two dollars, paid the $2 bucks, when I got home the food was substandard not worth eating plus the special fried rice which I paid for was not what I received, have ordered this dish for ages plus the person answering the phone about my complaint was not interested - not going back again, go there at your peril, no guarantee on take away - what can you do? You've already paid and are 20 mins away, had this prob before, shall try another restaurant or stick to home cooking
