Harba Oyster Bar & Grill

We visited here with friends on a lazy Sunday afternoon in winter. Based on Harba's location on the waterfront I'm sure they'd do the bulk of their trade during the warmer months but nonetheless the location & the venue itself were great! They have a seasonal menu complemented by a page of specials & we were happy to find out they had a good kids menu, presented on a mini blackboard & were more than happy to dish out a bucket of chalk to entertain the kids. Child friendly - tick! The wine list was quite good, focused on regional wines but supplemented by a good range of other Australian & some international wines. We opted for the soup special, an interesting blend of potato & Camembert, yum! Then we had the seafood platter. Wow! That's all I can say! Talk about huge & tasty! I had a roasted pork belly from here, with a fig sauce thing. It was really nice! Great customer service, and have outdoor seating.

Awesome place, wait was too long but the staff apologised (assume they were down on kitchen staff).

Salt'n'pepper squid was perfect, the lamb and chicken mains were equally scrumptious and you must try the creme brulee.

Great drinks and view, have booked this venue for a few upcoming birthdays; will be one of my new favourites!

Great location, friendly staff (under new management I hear), and great with the kids. My daughter was very impressed with the kid's menu. I was very impressed with the Japanese style oysters - worth a trip back there just for them!

Lovely ambiance, good service and worth the visit for the dessert menu alone (don't go past the tasting plate if you can't make up your mind). Not to downplay the rest of the menu which is also excellent.
