I didn't realise that they were under a massive refurb when we turned up for ANZAC day. Whilst we spent most of our time in the car park playing two up, we did venture inside. They have a sweet little providore selling mostly local goods and the upstairs area is really well decked out with a good use of the landings in the stairwells having seating to take in the glorious view....clever!! We will be back to see more when it is complete for sure!!!
Could have location going for it; but theres hardly any use of the stunning views with only a couple of windows out the back of the restaurant! Ordered the Ribs and the Fish and Chips in the Grill. The ribs were OK, but coated in cheap bbq sauce ; not really American style. Baked potato was cold and the salad little more than mixed leaf and a bit of tomato. Fish was average; chippies were good. The Club itself if mixed; the dining area presents OK but the system of finding a table, then going back to the entrance to order, to a separate bar to order drinks, then back doesn't particulary make for a relaxing meal. The TAB is like a casino Sportsbook, but a bit rundown and without many patrons. The lounge area is surrounded by everything else the club has to offer, meaning mixed crowds and bit 'multipurpose'.
Situated in one of the most gorgeous parts of Sydney. Family friendly and the price is right. After a work out at the gym or a Zumba class you can sit back and enjoy a drink or coffee, with cake of course, while you watch the whales migrate. If that doesn't grab you there are always those poker machines for distraction. Keep an eye out for special events for children.
