Boy has this place 'dropped the ball'. Always very expensive but food and service were good. Still very expensive but service is now very ordinary, wait staff didn't even know what the food on the menu was. The bread came burnt to charcoal (they did replace on request, but replacement was not much better). Presentation of food was very ordinary. Mains come with nothing extra and you can't get 'salad and chips'. You have to order and pay for salad and chips separately. It was so bad we didn't even look at the desert menu. What was my favorite restaurant is now on the absolute avoid list.

No doubt about the quality of the food or the view but it is ridiculously expensive. A request for a slice of bread was charged on the bill as "Bruchetta without topping" at $6 or so which freaked out my American guest particularly at was to accompany a $40 main.

This is definitely my favourite seafood restaurant in Wollongong.



I received a Gift Voucher for my birthday and I had been looking forward to using it since I was given it.



We had the Hot & Cold Seafood Platter for two and it was delicious. I have never seen such an amazing array of seafood in my life and it tasted better then it looked!



We found the staff to all be very happy and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The venue was beautiful, overlooking the water and the food was amazing! We could not stop eating even when we were full!



The whole experience was effortless and enjoyable. A wonderful night and I will certainly be back!.

With breathtaking views and a menu to match, its easy to see why this is one iconic restaurant in NSW's history. Whether it is a formal festivity, romantic dinner or lunch with friends, I would recommend the Harbourfront restaurant very highly, in fact one of the best seafood restaurants I have personally had the pleasure of dinning at.

As a local or tourist passing through, you can see the sights and the beauty Wollongong has to offer from your seat as you dine on some of the most to-die-for local produce.

A menu of classics and modernised dishes, presentation that is nearly too beautiful to eat, it is the total all round experience.

An old favourite, I’ve been going to the Harbour front for many years for the service, food and atmosphere. It is expensive but justified by the quality. Particularly good for functions as there is also room to move.
