Total lack of integrity, will never recommend to anyone!
My wife and I hired this agency to sell our property foolishly believing their claims that they have a number of people interested in something like what we owned. However, shortly after signing the contract, they changed their tune to 'The market is slow, we need to drop the price'. It's not hard to understand why they want to do that... $10,000 less in your pocket @2.2% fee is only $220 less in theirs, it will sell faster and they won't have to attend many open inspections. Long story short, we sacked them.
That aside, they keep flooding our mailbox with their rubbish advertising despite the fact that we have never subscribed to anything and the mail box is clearly marked 'No junk mail please'.
Recently, we were interested in buying in the Blackwood area and had been monitoring realestate.com.au for several weeks. Then we saw a home advertised by the local Harcourts office which appeared to suit our requirements and our budget which was $560,000.
The two-storey home was advertised for just one week with notification of an open inspection that long weekend. Right up to inspection day, realestate.com.au clearly showed it would be open to the public. So we - like many others - turned up on the ...read more
