I don’t think businesses should be allowed to claim they are experienced in curly hair cutting if they aren’t and haven’t had any training. I went to this salon because the website said experienced in curly dry hair cutting and had great reviews. I had hair down to approx middle of my back & got it cut to my shoulders at this salon. He twisted my curls and then snipped and snipped, which I had never heard of before, but thought ok must be a curly cut thing. My hair wasn’t washed properly at the basin and he messily scrunched product in and I left with a hard product “cast” a feeling of dread & a bit taken advantage of. I knew something was wrong when it looked like a big bulge at the back of my head & random long bits after I washed all the product out the next day. I went to another hairdresser a few weeks later and she was absolutely horrified. My hair was all different lengths and the layers she said looked like “stairs”. I'm sorry you feel this way, but are you sure you came to this place?
I never ever twist curls to cut curly hair. The way you shampoo curls is very different to shampoo'ing straight hair.
"stairs" is that due to straighteing your hair? as if you have a curly cut and then smooth or straighten it, it will definetly look like this, and if you then do smooth or straighten the hair, then its not best to have a curly cut.
The website is very truthful, only clients that hvae have been here get asked reviews and they are never fake.
i truly believe you may not have even come to this salon.
did you get offered a curly recheck?
as with all salons, the only way a salon knows something is if you tell them.

My favourite salon in Brisbane and will never go anywhere else. Have been coming here for about 18 months and the service is impeccable every time, Steve is lovely and an amazing hairdresser. They really look after their customers and the all round experience is just so enjoyable: from monthly specials, Christmas vouchers and an extensive complimentary beverage list. The prices are extremely competitive and not only is it the cheapest haircut Ive experienced in Brisbane, its always the best. Can't recommend enough!
