Where do I even being, can’t even get my head around it myself.
A friend and I thought hey let’s give this overpriced stingy conrner pub a chance because we were craving a burger.
We order at the bar to be greeted By Mr Michael child man,
He slaps in 2 burgers for us and all is sweet TILL I hr passes and we didn’t want to be annoying but politely inquired as to where our burger was.
Young Michael says “oh yeah hey it’s been a while” and we ordered a beer at the same time because we felt bad about complaining.
As our beers are popper he slaps his head and says OH kitchens closed I forgot ...read more
This pub stood out as the pub that had the huge rugby ball sitting on to of the veranda roof, though I doubt it is always there (it probably vanishes after the rugby season is over). Anyway, it was a nice pub, but not something that really impressed me a huge amount. It is bascially a sports bar with a beer garden (which is relegated to the smokers), a VIP Lounge, and a restaurant (as a lot of these pubs seem to incorperate). I'm sure it isn't a bad pub to go and watch a game or three, but then again I rarely go out to the pubs these days to watch a sporting match (though sometimes I would). In the end it's not a bad place, but not one I would come back to too often.
Lively bar almost every day! It's a great local bar - good atmosphere and most of the staff are friendly!
There's events on every other day - Pub quiz on a Tuesday night with prizes for everyone (even the losers which we thought was funny), Bingo on a Thursday, and other events throughout the week.
The food is great! The menu is Thai food - it is really good! It is priced really reasonable, most dishes are $11 and delicious!! I loved the Panang Curry and recommend it!
There's a nice courtyard and everyone is quite friendly!
The Harley is a great place for Thai food. It's quick, well priced and the bar has a large range of drinks to choose from. A great place to people watch also with great views across the memorial square. Tip: stick to the Thai menu and if it's busy for lunch and you need seating, head upstairs for bigger group seating. Sawadee kup!
