Despite not being the closest public swimming pool to my house, Harold Holt is certainly still considered my "local" swimming pool, and is great for people of all ages and skills to swim. Several different lanes means that you aren't mixed up with other people, and heated indoor pools allows you to swim even on freezing cold miserable days.
Also have changed from Chlorine to I think some sort of salt stuff which doesn't burn your eyes.
The swimming pool was redeveloped in 2010, now includes indoor and outdoor pools, children play, learn to swim pools. The only downside with the pools is that they can get very crowded. Friendly and approachable staff. The centre also includes gym and a canteen at the entrance. Learn to swim program is good and fun for all skill levels across all ages.
