This has been my go-to local butcher since I moved into the area 10 years ago. A decent range of good quality products. I really like that they make their own ham. They are knowledgeable and more than just counter staff - unlike supermarkets.
They also happy to get in special order stuff for us (they always chase down our lamb suet in the lead up to Christmas, for example).
I'm happy to pay a bit extra for good quality meat and good friendly, helpful service - not that they're that expensive.
As the suburb demographic evolves, and their customer base changes from 'little old ladies' to the young families (and dare I say the crowd heading to the local Merchants Guild for coffee) - I hope they remain a part of the fabric of the area for more years to come.
