Harry's Cafe & Deli

One Saturday I decided to go for a bit of an explore, and one of the places that ended up at was Templestowe. Okay, it's a pretty sleepy looking suburb, but the main shopping strip certainly has its fair share of cafes. Not having a huge amount of time it spend here (since I have a bus to catch) I picked a random one to grab some coffee. Well, it seemed as if everybody else in Templestowe had picked this one as well because it was packed. Mind you the staff were really friendly, despite the fact that it was pretty squeezy, and the coffee wasn't all that bad as well. Actually, the coffee was pretty good, which is probably why the place was packed late on a Saturday morning. I'm going to have to come back here sometime to try out some of the other cafes.

Anyone who knows me - knows how much I love the name, Harry. The commonly known name of my most beloved Grandfather, it spells out all things loving to me. So it was of no surprise to anyone accompanying me, on stumbling upon 'Harry's Cafe and Deli' in Templestowe, that I was instantly drawn inside to soak up any ambiance the establishment had to offer. And I was not let down! There is coffee. There is good coffee. And there is excellent coffee. Then, there is 'Harry's' coffee - in a monumental league all of its own. Don't expect to find a quiet secluded 'Harry's' for a weekend breakfast, as the quality of service and menu here is no secret to locals. With a mix of produce baked on-site and brought in, the variety of choice and taste is flawlessly diverse. Expect to be spoiled. Expect also, that your children be spoiled. Good atmosphere and food. Excellent friendly service. Bring the dog along. Pity there aren't more outdoor seating.

Great cafe with friendly staff and a good range. I would go back again.
