Had a fabulous experience for lunch at Harvest.
Some local friends from Byron took us here for lunch on a weekend when it can get really busy!
The service was lovely and attentive with lots of explanations about where the food had been sourced or grown. We started with the charcuterie platter and things just got better from there.
The boys loved the brisket, my friend enjoyed the local snapper and my pork belly was amazing!
We had to try the desserts as well and shared the cherry ripe and the vanilla dessert with elderflower and blueberries.
No complaints from anyone, and plates wiped clean! A great visit and fabulous feed!

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews here. We dropped in twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. There is no doubt this place is popular and another time we tried to get an evening booking and failed. I suspect this is a place where a booking 7-10 days out is probably the best approach.

For lunch we sat in the bar enjoying some wine and a very limited bar menu. The plowmans lunch (fancier title) was very enjoyable and service good.

We went back a week later for breakfast and really enjoyed the menu. Great sourdough toast with avacado, peas and eggs. The coffee was good too.

Highly recommend but do book well in advance, especially during peak season.

Been going here every year when we are here on our annual trip to Ballina/ Byron since they first opened.

We have seen a steady decline... This year we saw the food was disappointing and service was okay but unapologetic about feedback on their food. Maybe it's catering for a new wave of customers... the non returning kind.

We have been going to Harvest for a number of years now and I was so disappointed this last time. We waited an hour and a half for our mainmeal which was duck. It was so over cooked. The staff were over the top with the service. It was very difficult to have a flowing conversation without them interrupting to fill our water glasses etc. The menu is not very good with limited uninspiring choices. Such a shame as the venue is great. Very expensive for what it is. Won't be hurrying back any time soon.
