Me and 3 other family members had dinner tonight to celebrate an 80th birthday and no word of a lie it was absolutely brilliant from the service to the outstanding meals i had the rib fillet with chips & vegetables and cutting through the steak was like cutting through butter it was that tender, others had the pork belly and gourmet pizza and no complaints at all we gave it an overall rating of 8.5 to 9 out of 10 and we will be returning.
Overall pretty disappointing. It seems that the more expensive the dish you choose, the poorer the outcome. One person in our group had the rib fillet ($34) - it looked and tasted like a sad old piece of rump. Another had the land & sea ($38.90) and her medium rare steak was well done at least. Those with lamb shanks were happy (generous serving at a decent price). With a reasonable sized group needing to stick to a timeframe, we took every precaution, to pre-order, arrive early (apart from one couple) and specify every side order etc but that apparently wasn't enough - several sides were missing and there was an attempt to charge for an additional meal. ...read more
