Harvey Norman Carpet and Flooring

Attended Harvey Norman oxley in attempts to purchase a fridge and dishwasher attended in mid December and spoke with a salesman who knew little about the products and refused to give me a price telling me to return with other stores prices and he'll see what he could do.

I returned on Boxing Day (bad choice I know) but speaking with sales staff refused to do any deals saying the prices are already discounted. I left and went to the competition and purchased these items.

I emailed Harvey's informing them of my experience but did not get a response talk about crap customer service. I will never return to any Harvey's store ever again.

One of the better Harvey Norman stores around, selling both furniture and technology. It is located in a good location with ample parking space. Staff are adequately knowledgeable, friendly and open to haggling. The display room is kept tidy and well stocked at all times. Great place to go and be able to play around with laptops before you buy.

Returned an item today that was only couple of weeks old and faulty. Told on phone they would replace it. When we got there, they denied ever saying that and even indicated the person who told us didn't work there. I did discover he did, and got the old cliche of "Oh! I am sorry, he is new and told you the wrong information, we never do that, I will make sure he is trained correctly in future."

So, let's wait and see if the guarantee is worth the money! Will re-review when we get the item returned, hopefully in working order for a change.
