After so many wonderful experiences within the Harvey Norman umbrella, I was appalled when my partner and I went to this department. We had explained that we just came for prices and that was all, we started off speaking to a wonderful new employee. Hovering around was the franchise management, who then approached us saying how bad a day the dept was having, not selling much or anything for all we know. We were then pressured into putting a deposit down. We had explained that we had spent a considerable amount of money in HN and that we would definitely get the flooring done there as we want to keep it to one store for all our needs and that we want to be taken care of not only on the customer service side but with financial benefits due to the amount of money spent. I popped in to check out heaters, not wanting to buy on this particular day. The young guy was so helpful and knowledable (wish I knew his name!) and gave great advice on both gas and electric. It made me decide that I will go back there to purchase due to the excellent customer service.
Very bad experience with them! Bought faulty product here, called them but they did nothing and referred us to the manufacture. very bad service. The staff were very rude and unprofessional! Won't take any risk to buy product here.

No wonder they are struggling with their business. If the customer service received at Balgowlah is any indication of the rest of this business, I'd rather show online any day. I would only go here as a last resort if I couldn't find what I was looking for elsewhere ... anywhere.
