Been here 7 or 8 times in last 4 years. No complaints at all. Nice helpful staff, very fair prices for second hand parts. Have recommended it to many people and they were all happy. Obviously if you're looking for a needle in a haystack part you might be disappointed but that goes for every wreckers in this world most times!

I phoned before going and they informed me that the particular car was available so I'll be able to obtain the item I'm looking for. After the long drive to Langwarrin the particular car I was looking for was not available and end up wasting my time and drive. Felt they were more after the $2.00 entrance fee than helping with the part - ended up spending $6.00 with no result. If you want to obtain parts, be precise and inform them that if they are incorrect, at least the entrance fee to be reimbursed. They are good at telling they have it and you should check it out because they are after the entrance fee.

Just a quick note.
You are entering a Pick a Part yard. We have 1200 cars in stock with parts moving daily.
We try to offer a service to let our customers know if we have certain models in stock but it is imposible to let you know if a specific part is still out there.
We had over 100 sales on the day you came. Clearly the system works, and yes sometimes we do not have the part you require.
Hope this makes the way our yard works more clearer for all our valued customers.
Thank you for your reply. My issue is not the part not being there but informing over the phone the particular model is there and to discover the wrong information is provided. I understand if the part is not there as explained but very poor information over the phone when I was clearly told the particular car was there. Thank you again for your efforts.
Very Poor. After enquiring the night before about a particular car part advertised on the website the staff were less than enthusiast or helpful. The staff were not only accommodating but were just plain rude when telling me it had gone months ago. After voicing my frustration about how we had paid $4 entry fee but most annoyingly driven for over 2 hours to get there only to find no particular car part. I politely asked that due to the circumstances may I have by entry fee refunded, for the arrogant staff-worker to flatly deny my request.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Hi commodrelyf's. We always appreciate customer feed back and take it seriously and I am sorry you had a bad experience and a wasted trip.
But I feel the need to comment. The $2 entrance into the yard gives you access to over 1200 cars on site but we cannot guarantee your parts are there as the yard is changing daily.
When people inquire about parts we give a guide to cars we have only, not a guarantee the parts will be there. I think we are one of few Pick a Part yards ...read more
I have been dealing with Harvey wrecker for over 10 years now, it been a pleasure to deal with great people who work at the company, the guys has always been very helpful when i need any parts for my cars, keep the good work up guys you`ll always have my business to keep buying from you ((-: 10/10
