Here is an example of a true Hawker's Corner - walk in and you could be anywhere in the world. Taste the food & you'll want to come back again to try something else. I recommend going with a group so you can get something from every stall, because they're all delicious. And the price is fantastic. On the negative side it is often crowded & squeezy seating (but it IS a Hawker's Corner after all!) and it's not a fancy place to eat: not your 'first date' location - but take someone there who loves good food and you'll walk away happy.
Not flash but fast and fresh Asian food at a great price with lots of variety. Hawkers Corner is the original food hall and still the place for students and young families on a budget. There are a number of family owned food stalls ranging from Thai to Indian. Go there when you want a tasty bite to eat without fuss.
