Hawkesbury River Caravan Park

Coming from Fords Farm for mandarin picking, Wombat Cafe is the best next top for lunch. Their burger is fantastic. Not just big but also yummy. Perfect location with picturesque view. The staff is friendly except for the staff who happened to be not pleased when staff saw our group (4 family cars). Staff immediately told us that we should have booked ahead. I don't understand what is the fuss about when the cafe is almost empty and we were just passing by. Then staff told my six year old daughter not to make a mess in their lounge room when all that time, my daughter was just sitting on the sofa watching DVD with her friend. I just let it go so as not to ruin our weekend getaway. We've been there a couple of times before and would love to come back but hopefully it will be more family friendly next time.

We went to Spencer this week end did not like it at all. We than went down the Road to Wombat Cafe at Gunderman and You Guys Have gotta try the 2.4kg Big burger if you can eat it in 45 minutes its free we got through half but its the fattest best Burger and great coffee at a small blink and you miss it cafe and really nice family run shop . We are going to stay there next time as they have camping on river front and the girls will be happy as they dont have to cook.
