i arrived at 12:30 and the queue was short, i got my classic steak and mushroom pie and sat down to read the paper and eat my pie... the paper soon lost my attention as i focused on how great the pie tasted, it was indeed one of the best i had tasted, as i looked up the que was now quite long, no wonder with pies this good, which are well worth waiting for, thankfully the fast and competent made short work of the lunch time rush. I will definitely be back soon.
The locals are adamant about pies, warning me off Milton’s gorgeous Heritage Bakery located in one of the oldest buildings in the region, in favour of Hayden’s Pies, that's set rather inauspiciously in a light industrial strip mall. They also sell traditional ones starting from $5.10. Then there are gluten free pies, family size pies, frozen pies to go, sweet pies, as well as ...read more
Best pies ever!!!! us hungry surf boat rowers stopped here on the way up to Sydney and we were well fed can I tell you that. Their pies were wonderful. The owners are seriously the kindest and most enthusiastic pie people known on the face of the Earth!! Great people Great Pies, that's all!!
