Haymarket Seafood

Pricey seafood that's very old, smelly and off. I can't believe they try to sell this. I thought of giving this place a try and was hugely disappointed. I tried to cook some and eat it but it was so smelly and had to throw it all out in the end.

This shop has the most variety of fish available with brilliant display including live seafood tank display. Very pleasant to shop here as this shop has a very clean interior and NOT very fishy smell as all other seafood shop I've been to and I always get to find the fish or similar to the one I plan to cook with a good price. I'd recommend this shop to anyone who want to buy seafood. Lastly they open everyday so whenever you want fresh seafood... you got it.

I bought some periwinkles from their tank, I should have returned it after it was giving off hydrogen sulfide smell. I thought perhaps a good scrub and boiling it with ginger and lemon peel would help but the odour was even worse. It was inedible. I rung to advise them but they were disinterested.

You kind of get put off by the smell as you walk in.
