Healthy Sleep Solutions also run sleep clinic days at numerous GP clinics across the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. In conjunction with your Doctor we organise overnight sleep test that are conducted in the comfort of your own home at a time convenient to you avoiding the need for costly and inconvenient hospital stays. Patients sleep in their own bed under normal sleep conditions which generally tends to allow for very accurate results. A referral is required from your GP who will be sent a copy of the sleep report to discuss your results with you after diagnosis of the results by a Specialist Sleep Physician. The diagnostic test is bulk billed through Medicare for qualifying patients who satisfy the pre-assessment criteria by the Specialist. A small booking fee may apply.
Patients diagnosed with sleep apnea are offered the opportunity to begin their induction therapy quickly and easily with the minimum of expense by hiring a CPAP machine from Healthy Sleep Solutions for a period of a month. During this time the patient is given information about their condition and is able to trial the different masks and machines available. Our trained sleep technicians will help with mask fitting to ensure minimal leaks and maximum comfort. The aim is to find the most comfortable and effective treatment solutions for each patient. Regular downloads are carried out and patients are followed up to ensure that treatment is effective.
