I accompanied my Mum for cardio consult today. This practice have no respect for other peoples time. We came 30 minutes early before the booking, and they wanted us to wait for another 1 hour on top of 30 minutes that we have been waiting already. The emergency Doctor at Monash who saw my Mum didn't gave us referral form but said the admission form with her provider number will be sufficient as a referral form to cardiologist. They were made aware that there is no referral form and whatever issue, their reception have sorted out. The annoying, unacceptable issue is that the consulting Cardiologist is Dr. Dimuth De Silva whom I saw went to the reception and overheard his conversation to the reception that he can't see a patient at the moment because he have to attend other personal stuff. His way of getting his receptionist manage it, is by patient to wait for 1 hour or more while doing his stuff. That is a very unprofessional, untolerable behaviour. They should ...read more
