When laying turf, a professional should ensure that the turf underlay is reasonably level. Turf won't grow on a concrete driveway so it's probably a good idea to cut it accordingly. The turf rolls should butt up to one another rather than some overlapping by large margins and other rolls having substantial gaps between them.
