Helen Bannister, a person centred counsellor, offers counselling for people with problematic alcohol and drug use and the families and friends of users. Helen also offers general counselling in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, stress management, low self esteem, life transitions and relationship issues. Person centred counselling focuses on the quality of the the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist as the essential element in facilitating the personal growth of the client.
