Hepner Family Homes

We lover our home and would build with Hepner again! We highly recommend Hepner Family Homes. We were looking for a team to build our first home together that functioned outside the mainstream companies and we are so happy we did. Brendan & I met with Brett who was very easy to get along with, and put a lot of my concerns about building in the South East while living in CQ to rest. Mitch was very easy to contact throughout the process which took away a lot of the stress of not being in town to have those important conversations. The team kept us updated at all stages of the build, and Helen, in the office was very helpful and understaning.

The Bank finalized the last payment and the money was cleared in Hepners bank, but Helen and Racheal felt that it would be too much of a burden to do the handover then and there. Helen said ‘it is Friday you know’ or words to that effect. I tried to explain that I and the wife will be working on Monday, but to no avail. She just said well how about Wednesday then?

You decide if you want to go and spend money with someone like that.

I couldn't disagree more with the previous comment. We have built three homes with Hepner Homes since 2007 - our own home first & two rental properties. We have found them to be always professional, extremely easy to deal with & provide a fantastic final product.

We were nervous to build our first home as we had not built before but the experience with Hepner Homes was such an easy process that we decided to use them for our next two houses - which were equally easy - and will be signing up to build another one in 2011.

We could not recommend them more highly. It is fantastic that within our local area there is such a great company that can provide a quality home & all the staff involved from the salesmen through to office staff, the owners & tradesmen are more than helpful & accommodating.

Thought we had found a builder that was able to deliver on all that was promised, but unfortunately this was not the case. We had some teething issue's which were sorted, but not always in our favour. The standard is meant to be high, but finishes are mid range which was disappointing and the hand over of our half a million dollar plus home was abysmal. We had to argue to get our door keys which really put a sour note on the entire experience which was long overdue. On the plus side, they are fixing the little things that are wrong and the majority of their sub contractors take pride in their work.
