HERC Building and Property Maintenance

I have engaged Herc Building and Property Maintenance for many jobs large and small over the past few years and have found them to be exceptional in the results they deliver and the service they provide. Each job no matter how big or small has been completed with a high level of professionalism and the workmanship is outstanding! I would recommend them to anyone wanting honest quality reliable professional service at a great price. You won't find anyone better!

We engaged Steve to do a whole lot of small jobs around the house too fiddly to do ourselves (and we didn't have the correct tools). He was very efficient, prompt and accomodating with our schedule. We have since had Steve complete some other work for us, he has become invaluable to a couple of very un-handy city slickers! He is super friendly and has a very can-do attitude, no job is too big or small! A rare find.

Steve came across as a very professional and did all the measurement to our job and didn't hear from him for 2 weeks so called up and was told you will receive your quotation soon but after a month to call to see ah I sent you an email and I said I can't do your job. I'm like what email. He did t have the decency to call and let us know he can't do the job or never received the email. Very unprofessional and unreliable for a person who come across as reliable and professional and reading the other reviews how most people are saying good about him Im seriously surprised. Anyway good luck and hope what happened to me won't happen to you guys.

Engaged Steve to help us with touch ups with an older property we bought, Steve was away at that time but his worker , Chris, helped us with the jobs. Chris was very hardworking , considerate and helpful, even trying to give me a hand looking at a leaking p trap that I accidentally discovered and cheerfully agreeing to help with other little odds and ends that I kept encountering as i cleaned the house. All at a relatively reasonalbe price. They perform a wide variety of jobs as well: tidying my neighbours overhanging branches, fixing my fence, clearing my gutters... Which saved me from having to get different ppl in to do it. Steve also checked all the work on his return and ensured it was to my satisfaction.

We got Steve to do a pretty major renovation (kitchen, bathroom and laundry area) for us. This was our first-ever renovation project and I was quite fearful of being taken advantaged because we weren't experienced with costs and the general process/ timeline. I looked through various review websites and found HERC. Gave Steve a call, who was friendly over the phone and managed to arrange a time to come on-site to have a look at the work required. When we received our first quote and felt it was on the high side (out of our budget), I was able to walk through the quote with him and he gave us ideas on where we could save more money by potentially not doing something that wasn't critical for e.g saving the shower bases that were still in good condition.
